In the event of an emergency during our normal opening hours please call our surgery on 01603 411520 (Drayton Road) or 01603 300814 (Thorpe Road) and you will be advised what to do next.
Out of hours emergency
If your call is during the night or at the weekend whilst our clinic is closed, please call your usual surgery number, where you will be directed through to Norwich Night Vets. Please be aware that you must make an appointment – do NOT turn up without letting them know you are on your way. This allows them to be prepared for your arrival and therefore allows them to deliver the best care they can for your pet.
Norwich Night Vets is our preferred emergency services partner. They are a dedicated emergency service with full-time night staff who will be alert and effective even at unsociable hours. Their qualified vets and nurses have a special interest, experience and training in all aspects of urgent critical care. Their support allows our vets to be fully refreshed for the day shift.

Please note:
- Healthy Pet Club members do not receive 10% off any of Norwich Night Vets products or services.
- Please note that an out-of-hours consultation fee payable at the time of consultation will be charged. Please ask when you call for the current fee.
- Insurance claims are processed by the practice completing the work, so any insurance claims for out of hours work carried out by Norwich Night Vets should be discussed with them directly. We will process all other claims relating to work done at Willow Veterinary Clinics.
