We are a small animal practice in Norwich, first established in 1991. We are passionate about animals and our skilled team of veterinarians and vet nurses are dedicated to providing the highest quality care. Because we love animals and strive to provide excellent continuity of care, we are open five days a week at Hellesdon and seven days a week at Thorpe and have access to 24-hour emergency care.
Lindsey has worked tirelessly within the practice for 25 years, controlling everything from rotas to payroll and computer systems - the sort of person we would love to clone! She has extensive knowledge of not only the mechanics of veterinary practice but the pastoral side of dealing with client's emotional and financial problems which crop up on a daily basis.
She owns Ruby, her rescue Rotty cross who appears in several of the website's pictures, who she loves and adores. She enjoys Ceroc dancing, skiing (well her husband thinks that she enjoys skiing, but Lindsey would give you a different answer) and family trips in her motorhome to far flung places.
Both Lindsey's daughters work in the veterinary profession so she understands the whole essence of veterinary life and is as dedicated as a vocational vet because of her love of animals.
Practice Manager at Thorpe
Anthony has worked in the veterinary industry for 12 years, three of those with CVS. He divides his time between Willow Vets Thorpe Road and Aylsham Vets as practice manager. Anthony began his veterinary career as a receptionist before becoming practice manager two years ago. He has two dogs. Corrie and Harley, and a very lazy vocal cat called Mason.
Dog Groomer at Thorpe
Before Tanya had her family she completed an animal care course and became passionate about animal welfare. She volunteered in animal rescue centres and after having her family decided to pursue a career in dog grooming as she wanted to do a job she loved. After qualifying in this area she ran a grooming business from home before deciding to join the team at Willow to work with like-minded people in our lovely facility. Tanya is over the moon to be working here with such a dedicated team of people who all work together to ensure that the grooming experience is positive for you and your pet. We work very hard to build a trusting relationship with your pet as if it were one of our own.
Receptionist at Hellesdon
Jill is married to our senior vet David and is probably the only employee he is actually scared of. She gained a wealth of veterinary practice knowledge during the many years they ran several practices in Wembley. She is an expert in juggling several tasks at once and has always got an eye on everything that is happening around her.
Her spare time is now generally occupied with her three lovely grandchildren but she still has plenty of time for her beautiful, albeit sometimes grumpy, Pointer called Nina.
Receptionist at Hellesdon
Louise has worked at Willow since 2004 and is loved by staff and clients alike. She recently left for pastures new but missed us all so much that after six weeks away she returned to us and is now back behind the reception desk in her rightful position.
Louise is married to a lovely man (we have to say that because he brings us doughnuts and fruit cake!) and they have three sons and a male dog called Bently... Never mind Lou, at least the cat, Tinsel is female.
Receptionist at Thorpe
Tracey has been a veterinary receptionist since 2007 and joined CVS two years ago. She is very excited to welcome you all to reception at Thorpe Road. Tracey has two fur babies, a Patterdale cross Terrier puppy called Dolly and a very large black and white rescue cat who loves to hunt in the fields around her village, Vinnie. In addition to her pets she is also interested in hedgehogs and other wildlife.
Receptionist at Thorpe
Julia has returned to veterinary reception after working for eight years in the retail industry. She is married with two children and three grandsons, and also has two dogs and two cats. In her spare time she loves taking long weekends with the dogs whenever she can.
Receptionist and Social Media Administrator
Jodie graduated from university in 2015 with a BA in photography. She joined Willow in 2016 to build a new website and using her skills as a photographer to increase the use of social media within the practice and at the same time support the reception team. She does a great job of bonding with our clients and taking photographs of their pets to use on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the website.
Jodie has recently started to take over some of the administration work at the practice and joins Ellie at the puppy parties every week to keep a photographic diary of the evening activities. Jodie lives at home with her family and rescue dog Ruby.
